Welcome from the Principal

Ewell Castle School and Ewellians community website

Welcome to the Ewell Castle School and Ewellians community website which is for alumni (former pupils) of the School, current and former staff and governors, as well as current and former parents/guardians of the School. The objective of this community website, as well as the Ewell Castle School Alumni and Development Office, is to deliver benefits for all members of the Ewell Castle community as well as the School itself.

Ewellians events and reunions

All alumni, current and former staff and governors, as well as current and former parents/guardians of the School may attend Ewellians events and reunions.

When do current pupils become Ewellians and join the community website?

Current pupils do not become Ewellians until after they leave the School at the end of Year 11 (aged 16+) or at the end of Year 13 (18+). Every Spring the Alumni Office ask all Year 11 and Year 13 to complete an alumni form and provide their contact details. After they have left School (either post 16 or post 18), the Alumni Office adds their contact details to the Ewellians/Alumni database. They will then receive regular e-bulletins with news of events, reunions and other networking and mentoring events that they may attend, that may be of interest/benefit to them. When Year 13 leave (and once they are 18 years of age), they are invited to join this Ewellians community website by creating their own login profile. Once they have joined, they can fully access the content the website has to offer. Ewellians and other members of the School community (including those who leave at the end of Year 11, (aged 16+) can view this website (via the url or via a link on the Ewellians page of the main School website), but they will only have partial access to the content until they join (post 18). Access to the photo gallery and networking opportunities, such as being able to privately contact individual mentors and other Ewellians on the community website about job opportunities, work experience, interview practice etc will only be possible once they are aged 18 or above.

Keep in touch

We really do love to hear from our former pupils, staff, and other members of our Ewellians community, so please join this networking community, come to whatever events you are interested in and share your updates and stories with us. We believe that our Ewell Castle School community is more than just a school. We are a broad community that includes current/former staff and current and former parents/guardians. Together we are stronger and together we can help each other and the School. I look forward to seeing many of you at future Ewellians events.

With best wishes

Silas Edmonds - Principal of Ewell Castle School
